The Rev. Emily M. Brown has been the Pastor of First Reformed Church, Hastings-on- Hudson since September of 2017. Prior to her pastorate here, she most recently served as Associate Pastor of Broadway UCC in New York City. She received her bachelor’s degree from Harvard University magna cum laude in Comparative Religion and her M.Div. from Union Theological Seminary, and has been an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ since 2012. She was the 2010 recipient of the David H. C. Read Memorial Preacher/Scholar Award, given annually by Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church, as well as Union Theological Seminary’s Kneeland Award. She serves on the UCC New York Metro Association Board of Directors and on the Board of Young Clergy Women International, and is the Co-Managing Editor of Fidelia, YCWI’s online publication. Stepmom to one child and mom to two more, she enjoys exploring great restaurants and bakeries, reading memoirs and graphic novels, choral singing, and playing in a competitive online trivia league.

Trish Waters has been the Office Manager at FRC since November 2015, and pianist/organist since 2005. Trish has a Master of Music degree in performance from Stony Brook University. Prior administrative experience includes 10 years working as director for the Asia/Pacific region at AFS Intercultural Programs, a student exchange program that promotes cross- cultural understanding and peace.
